Walsh Construction is currently seeking a Document Control/Quality Control Admin for their Van Ness Bus Rapid Transit project located in San Francisco, CA This position will assist and support the Quality Control Manager and Van Ness project team with reviewing construction documents and plans for compliance, assist with preparing documents for submittals to the owner, construction site walks with QC manager and assist with logs and receipts of submissions of project and compliance documents. The position works under direct supervision, performs routine daily activities and gathers and distributes information.   • Supports the document control/auality control team with general administrative responsibilities including data entry, maintaining logs, preparing and maintaining training materials, and maintaining internal process documentation

  • Coordinates the printing and distribution process for engineering drawings and documents

  • Performs basic system maintenance and access requests

  • Develops and distributes meeting minutes and correspondence

  • Assists the Quality Control Manager

  • Collects data along with related documentation for maintaining logs for secure information access

  • Site walks

  • Compliance and documentation to/from owner and construction partners

  • 1 to 3 years of construction industry experience highly preferred
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
  • Basic knowledge of Procore, SharePoint, and e-Builder
  • Knowledge of document control/quality control standards
  • Broad understanding of construction management industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and construction site-oriented environment
